At a time when concern for our natural environment has never been higher, Camp Fire offers campers an opportunity to take an active role in the outdoors. Campers care for trees, practice recycling, and participate in activities geared toward the natural sciences. Camp Fire believes in the power of nature to awaken a child’s senses, curiosity and desire to learn – and what could be more perfect than a 5 acre learning laboratory packed with trees and lizards, uneven ground and twice weekly campfire cooked meals eaten family style around a table.
