Beach Cruisers Day Camp

Camp Fire USA's Beach Cruisers Day Camp program is a fun and exciting way for kids entering 5th through 10th grades to get out of the house and get in to nature! Campers will spend their summer being active and creative while exploring local attractions and experiencing the outdoors. This program takes Beach Cruisers Campers on three weekly field trips, which consist of unique experiences around the Long Beach, Orange County, and Los Angeles County areas.

When Beach Cruisers Campers are not off cruising the nearby areas, they will be on site at Camp Fire USA Long Beach Area Council facility. At Camp Fire USA they can enjoy activites such as:

• Team building
• Cooking over a campfire
• Mentoring younger campers
• Sports and Games
• Outdoor Education
• Rock Climbing/High Ropes
• Archery

The Beach Cruisers program is also a chance for older campers to gain leadership expereinces with opportunities to mentor younger campers through assisting camp counselors. Beach Cruisers will learn how to be good role models for younger campers that participate in the BackYard Bunch Summer Program.

Don't miss out! Camp Fire USA's Beach Cruisers are also able to enroll in Specialty Camp which is offered during weeks 2, 4, 6, and 9 of summer camp sessions. These Specialtiy Camp options give the children a chance to experience more in depth look at specific activities outside Traditional Camp experiences, such as fencing or culinary arts.
