Traditional Camp (Grades K-7)

$145- 3 Day | $165 - 5 Day

Offers a variety of activities that take place on-site at our 5 acre Long Beach facility. Each day is filled with exciting hands-on adventures. Campers will be immersed in activities related to the weekly theme as well as more traditional camp activities.

 

Activities include:

 

Adventure Camp (Grades K-7)

$170 - 3 Day | $185 - 5 Day

Campers choosing this option will participate in many of the Traditional Camp activities listed above, but in addition will take 2 weekly field trips. Tuesday and Thursday trips take place at many exciting local attractions. Refer to themes and trips chart for field trip destinations.

 

Most weeks filled to capacity in 2014. Register early to avoid dissappointment!

 

Beach Cruisers (Grades 5-10)

Beach Cruisers Day Camp program is a fun and exciting way for older campers to get out of the house and get in to nature! Campers will spend their summer being active and creative while exploring local attractions and experiencing the outdoors. This program takes campers on three weekly field trips, consisting of unique experiences around the Long Beach, Orange County, and Los Angeles areas. Refer to themes and trips chart for field trip destinations.

 

When Beach Cruisers are not out participating in exciting excursions they will join BackYard Bunch for many of the Traditional Camp activities listed above. This provides an opportunity for older campers to gain leadership experiences by mentoring younger campers and assisting camp counselors.

BY FAX: Fax completed registration page to 562.421.4056. Be sure to fill out the credit card information section located at the bottom of each registration form.

BY EMAIL: Email PDF forms to SummerCamps@CampFireLB.org. Once we receive your email, we will be in contact with you to gather payment information. Registration will not be complete with out payment information. Deposit a one time $25 camper registration fee is required at sign up. A $50 per week deposit fee is required to reserve your campers summer camp enrollment.

PLEASE NOTE: All camp deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and are applied to camp fee.

Registration will not be processed without a completed health history form and deposit or full payment.

 

Returned Checks or Charges

There will be a $25 charge for all returned checks or charges. There is a $10 late fee for fees not paid in full by due date.

 

Refund Policy

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. In cases of homesickness, dismissal, or voluntary withdrawal (due to cancellation or no-show), no refund will be issued. In cases of medical emergencies, a physician's written note is required to request a refund of fees paid, less deposit. Request for refunds with special circumstances must be submitted in writing for consideration.

 

Financial Aid

Campership aid is available for qualifying families thanks to the generosity of private donors. Forms are available for download or call the Camp Fire office at (562) 421-2725.

Transfer Policy

(Ex: Traditional Camp Session 1 to Traditional Camp Session 4, etc.)

A transfer request will be accepted 14 days prior to each camp session; availability permitting. There will be no transfers processed after the 14 day deadline. The 1st transfer is free per each individual camper and any difference in fees will be charged. Each additional transfer is $25 plus any difference in fees.

 

Program Transfer

(Ex: Traditional Camp to Adventure Camp, 3 Day to 5 Day, etc.)
Changing from 3 day to 5 day option or upgrading program option requires payment of the additional program fees, but will not be charged a transfer fee. No refunds will be given for changing to a lower priced program option, reducing days, or cancelling extended camp.
